Watched this last night. pretty dull, was a poundland job so no loss, just thought it seemed interesting, but it wasn't noticed a few rip off scenes throughout, i think dawn of the dead, crystal plumage, exorcist and black sunday or maybe it's just me.
Either way the main protagonists weren't too bad but the story went nowhere, there was exorcist type possession scenes but no reason. 4/10

I really rate The Sentinel; an under-seen '70s gem! I'm glad you managed to enjoy this one more on a re-watch, Dem.

I'm a rather big supporter of The Sentinel. It certainly has it's flaws but it has an unmistakable atmosphere.

Watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty last night.
Not your average Ben Stiller movie, this one was quite thoughtful and uplifting.
Plus I think I fell in love with Kristen Wiig a little bit.

I've been hearing a lot of negative things about this film.

I really enjoyed The Shrine. I enjoy outdoors horror plus the added Occult ending made it a decent effort for me.

I may have been a bit harsh on the 'Shrine', it was well made just didn't do it for me. Needed more of a backstory, rather than oh its a curse.

Bronx Warriors 2 (Enzio G Castellari, 1982) (Shameless).

More violent than its predecessor, if that indeed was possible, filled with euro exploitation stalwarts, recommended within an inch of it's life!!

Knightriders ( Blu-ray )

Wasn't sure whether to get this one, but I'm glad I did.
I've always thought George A Romero has an uncanny knack of getting very natural and believable performances from his actors ( including NOTLD ) and the same can be said here. Very enjoyable ( if arguably a bit overlong? ) and opening shot aside, yet another pin sharp print from Arrow.
