StreetTrashBlu_web.jpg

Street Trash looks fantastic the melting scenes just explode with colour. Im sure most people here if not everyone has seen Street Trash so if you are a fan this is a must if you have not seen it this is the one to get. Its cheap its region free and its packed with extras plus you get a Tenafly Viper lable sticker to make youre very own Viper Wine bottle

Only one thing left

Spin off film from the tv series. How many of us wanted to be in class 5C with this lot ? Great fun, this really takes me back. Ahh, the good old days...

John Carpenter's The Fog - small tow of Antonio Bay is celebrating it's 100th year. Ghost ship mysteriously appears out of fog. People mysteriously turn up dead.

Average ghost story is very atmospheric although extremely slow moving. It has some genuinely good scenes, but I found it very hard to get through. I had the same problem with Cronenberg's Scanners. It didn't meet my high expectations, nothing much really happened except for a few impressive scenes. Can't see myself watching it again anytime soon. 6/10
I kind of agree with you on Scanners and I'm not a youngster (unfortunately) :-( and I'm a fan of Cronenberg's as well. If it wasn't for the effects and Michael Ironside being in it, it would have been forgotten about IMO.

The fog on the other hand is a personal favorite.

DRUNKEN TAI CHI. Donnie Yen plays a spoiled rich kid who has to grow up fast after his father and brother are murdered...wave upon wave of god awful comedy interlink training and fight scenes but luckily shit blows up early in the film thus keeping my attention.

Michael "Sam Fischer" Ironside is one of my favourite character actors. Both him an Patrick McGoohan were excellent in Scanners. I just thought it dragged on and nothing much happened I it. I am also a big Cronenberg fan.

Scanners is probably my least favourite early Cronenberg, but I still love it. Mind you, Lack's performance nearly sinks it!
