Didn't disgust me.
It would only disgust the staunch Catholics.

Autopsy - Diverting and at times gloriously gory, but it makes no sense whatsoever. Robert Patrick is so funny in this...... without trying to be.

I had a Shameless double-bill tonight with Oasis of Fear and The Designated Victim... I'm filling those gaps in my Shameless collection!

Jungle Heat

Violent, badly dubbed and directed but fun HK Vietnam film that has some rather gory moments like for example; a prisoner buried in the ground has his hair shaved off, the top of his head slit open, has acid poured inside and then literally jumps out of his skin! And another scene where the viet cong grab hold of another soldier and use one of those big jumberjack saws on his stomach.

The DVD I watched was the UK release from Moonstone which obviously wasn't submitted to the bbfc because the is a sick scene in which a real, live caged rat has petrol poured on it and set on fire. The only bbfc record I can find is its 1988 release which was cut by over 7 mins.

Watched Night Train To Terror last night on the Unexplained Channel (Sky 201) and fricken LUVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great film! I never saw it all, but it was basically about God and Satan on a train (!) deciding wether humanity should go to hell etc, by looking at different stories (it's an anthology movie) - it was so much fun!

I need to get this on DVD!

And just check out this poster.......

The Moonstone DVD of Jungle Heat is an unauthorised release, as is the 23rd Century one. Many (though not all) of the old BBFC video cuts have been restored.

The German DVD is slightly longer and contains some more of the BBFC cut footage. I have the Greek video which is fully uncut.
