Just preparing you if you do decide to give it a shot. Best to lower expectations just incase.

Razorback (1984) Considered an 'Ozploitation' pic but to be honest I cant see how or why there would be an 'Ozploitation' genre. Yeah sure its set in Australia but there again so are a great many films. Anyway it features a rather large rampaging wild boar, a husband searching for his missing wife, a grandfather out for revenge against the said piggie for piggie running off to the market with his baby grandson, and two absolute nutters who run the local pet food factory. Last saw this on VHS when my local tape shop had it on its selves I didn't think much of it then...and I still don't.

I'd say give it a shot and judge for yourself... I'm actually interested in hearing your thoughts on this one as there seems to be a bit of a split in opinion.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984)

A revisit to a film I had not seen in ages. I remember seeing this at the cinema on release and the audience went wild more than a few times.
The original and the best of franchise where Freddy Krueger was a killer monster rather than the wise cracking hero funny man he became in later sequels.
Sure, the later films had their moments but I'll just stick with this one.

Last week i watched Stuart Gordons From Beyond.
While baring little resemblance to the Lovecraft story of the same name it's based on this was an entertaining little flick.
Jeffrey Combs plays a scientist dabbling with things scientist shouldn't and the lovely Barbara Crampton wears leather fetish type gear. Nice goopy effects, good performances and Second Sights blu ray looks very nice.

Not at all. They are all fully rounded stories.

I have not seen 'The ABC'S Of Death', but I must admit that I am intrigued by the concept, and will probably get it sometime later in the year

FOG ISLAND (1945)

George Zucco invites former partners in crime to his creepy old fog bound mansion. Somewhere, there is hidden fortune. He gives clues to the guests to find it and also hopes to find out who among them murdered his wife.
Low budget PRC thrills. Atmospheric foggy mansion, dark rooms and hidden passages. Good fun for fans of poverty row horrors.
