I'd go for American W, but only just.

Good one, American Werewolf for me too. I love both of them, but I rarely watch The Howling

I am composing a bit of a review for The Howling as we speak, after seeing it again last night.

I haven't watched it since the Cult Labs Werewolf night Twitter event, whenever that was!

American werewolf vs the howling it has to be American werewolf for me as well. but by a wolfs whisker.
It might not seem it but I do like near dark and in someways it is a better film than lost boys BUT lost boys is a hell of a lot more fun and is something I watch more than once a year which I can't say about near dark

An American Werewolf in London is one of my all time favourite genre films, so a clear winner.

Do you also watch it along with its sequels?

You know, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn?
