Frenzy (1972) "Lovely, lovely, lovely..." Hitchcocks penultimate picture. This was the first time I've seen this all the way through, when I last saw part of this on TV as a nipper it was the above scene that promptly had me sent to bed! Great stuff!

I saw it myself for the first time a couple of months ago. I also loved it.

Back to blind swordsmen with...

Adventures of Zatoichi

Z heads to a town to worship at the dawn of the new year. Unfortunately he gets embroiled in local politics as a corrupt magistrate is in bed with a local Yakuza and making life hell for the townsfolk. Z helps two young women, one whose brother is out for revenge against the magistrate, the other looking for her missing father. Pretty soon, in spite of his desire to have some peace and quiet poor old Z must begin the killing once again. As per usual the film delivers some wonderful imagery, especially the ending, and some top quality swordfighting as Z mows his way through more thugs.

Took the missus to watch The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 tonight. Silly, illogical longwinded bollocks. Watched Catching Fire and Mockingjay Part 1 last night in order to know what was going on. They were pretty poor too.

I've only seen the first Hunger Games film and didn't think much of it so have never bothered with the sequels.

Yeah they're not film I'd have personally chosen. The concept of children being forced to fight to the death in an arena...in a 12?
