Yes. I have the BU release and there's a disclaimer before the film begins regarding the German sequences.

I'm glad they added them. It would be a fairly poor film sleaze wise without them.

This is the interesting aspect for me, what with the films being treated in a rather elastic manner by all and sundry.
After years of "the final cut" being somewhat sacrosanct territory etc.

To be blunt, I have found myself watching various genres of films recently, and have wondered every time... "What would Jess have done to this material??"

Which I think is a decent enough legacy in itself.

Sounds like a thread in it's own right.

The Witch (2016) - 1/5

Relentlessly dreary and boring, I really struggled to sit through this one. Anyone on here seen it? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, I know it's generally highly regarded. At the end of the film when I said to my friend 'I thought that was garbage', a guy on the row in front of me turned round and we had a nice little film discussion, he compared it to Wild Strawberries but I couldn't see that and said maybe Hour of the Wolf and Cries & Whispers would be more applicable

Chloe's mum, who is disabled, refuses to use a commode, because "it is demeaning"!
