My Woolies is selling the recent Cinema Club re-issue of FEAR CITY for only a quid. It's better qualitywise than the MIA release & has a superior & more explicit trailer.Sadly it's not the unrated version despite restoring the BBFC cuts so I've sent off for the cheap Dutch dvd of the unrated cut. Also ordered the r1 Tom & Jerry Spotlight collection though I gather two entire cartoons are missing for P.C reasons .I think most have "Big Mamas" original voice though.

Zone Horror have shown Mothers Day a few times but its always been on at a ridiculously late time slot so i've never got round to watching it.
I'm usually awake but I wouldn't put the tv on in the bedroom at that time as the missus would be sleeping, and it's very rarely I would ever watch tv downstairs .
I'm not a great sleeper so I use my PSP with headphones to watch films or Game after 1. 30 am, unless we're watching the end of a late film on tv.

Watching films is pretty much all I have to do at the moment while i'm on graveyard shifts. Sometimes end up going almost a week at a time without seeing my girlfriend, mates, even my house mate. Sometimes end up watching two, sometimes three on a night as I'm up till the early hours and there's sod all on TV. Helps me get through my 'Still to watch' pile though.

The Pogues-style theme song (actually performed by Stephen Powys & Emilio Perez Machado ) is a classic. http://www.shameless-films.com/forum...es/biggrin.gif

It's a film that doesn't take itself too seriously. Despite the previous ban it's highly unlikely to be cut today.

My wife (bless her) picked up the following 5 movie mega shite pack from Woolies for me:

Pieces, Axe, Sickle, Curfew and the Bachelor Party Massacre

Curfew is by far the worst of the bunch, so bad..it's bad :ack:

The rest are definitely good fun

bedorca 3rd September 2008 09:12 PM

Ungrateful? I think not.

My wife goes out of her way to look for movies like this. We share very similar tastes (guess that's why we are married!!!)

I can feel your green glow from here Reaps my good friend.
