They like to be known by their given title, which is Tit Goblins.

Aenigma

A girl at a private girl's school is the victim of a cruel prank that leads to her being left in a coma. However she seems to have developed the ability to astral travel out of her body and begins getting revenge on the girls that tormented her.
Aenigma comes in the later period of Fulci's the career where the quality of the work he turned out was in decline due to lower budgets and a decline in health. The dip in quality can be seen here with some iffy acting and effects however its actually still not bad. The composition of shots is still great, he gets some decent camera moves and the film is kept as simple as possible so it allows Fulci to focus on some decent deaths.
It ultimately comes across like a weird hybrid of phenomena, Suspiria and patrick and its still nowhere near as good as films like the beyond but its solidly entertaining nonsense.

Burroughs

A fascinating documentary on author William Burroughs following him as he revisits past friends and places. As he's pretty much one of the major icons of 20th century literature and he lived through most of its interesting parts, hanging out with some of its big literary players such as Jack Kerouac and Alan Ginsberg.
Criterons restoration is terrific and has some nice bonus features including a commentary with Jim Jarmusch. If you like documentary's then its worth a watch.

Been meaning to watch this for ages, I'll have to bump it up my pile. Similar to this, did you watch the Dylan documentary that came out on Criterion too? I watched that over Christmas and thought it was great.

I've just listened to Mark Kermode's review and his issue was the use of Albinoni’s Adagio in G Minor, a piece of music which has been used in the TV series Butterflies, the films Rollerball, Gallipoli, Flashdance, and accompanies Confessions on Simon Mayo's Drivetime radio show. As such, it has (for many) become cliché. Apparently Lonergan had it in as a temp track always intending to replace it with a different piece of music but found it worked so well he didn't/couldn't find anything better.

I didn't have an issue with the music because, although it's been used, I have never found it overused. If it had been Barber's Adagio for Strings, probably most famous fourth Platoon and The Elephant Man, that would have been different. It is most likely a personal thing and your memories of, and associations with, a particular piece of music, including how many times you have heard it and its associations for you.

I feel it was more to do with Mayo's drivetime confessions show rather than anything else! It's a beautiful piece of music anyway, I'm going to listen to it now. Sorry, I thought it was Canon but couldn't go back and check the review with me being in work

As I don't listen to the radio very much, I don't have that association, hence why it wasn't a problem for me.

Gwendoline. Several square miles of bare flesh - check. Badly dubbed into English - check. Similaraties to Barbarella - I think so at least on a superficial level. Bad fights - check.

Any good? - Not sure to be honest. It passed the time agreeably enough, yet it all seemed rather badly staged to me. The studio sets were very studio sets, if you know what i mean. I think i'll have to watch it in French with the subtitles on. It makes a hell of a difference in some films and i may have come away with a slightly negative opinion of the film (and the acting) because of the dub-track.
