^ Jill Valentine looks great in Resident Evil Apocalypse. Like she walked straight out of the PS1 game Nemesis.

excellent with lots of laugh out loud moment's, plenty of easter eggs and nods too other Batman movies and jokes that only adults will get. Not going too spoil the plot, but we have Bats up against Joker and other familiar villains as well as gremlins, jaws, Sauron, King Kong , Voldermort and daleks amongst others. Not quite as good as the Lego movie but still worth seeing but still a better superhero movie than most of Warners live action movies of late and hey none of those explored the homoerotic relationship between joker and Batman. Everthings better with Lego 8.5/10

Up tonight the raid which I've not seen before.

Everybody Wants Some!!

Brilliant film showing the days leading up to the start of the college year seen through the eyes of a freshman. I can't recommend this one enough, I loved it. Joyful from start to finish.

Is it a comedy or straight up drama?

A funny drama though nothing dramatic happens which is why I liked it so much. It is basically just blokes hanging out and having a laugh. It is incredibly alive and a celebration of being young. To be lazy, it is Dazed and Confused goes to college but less wordy and no seriousness to it.

Hardcore(1979) the film stars George C. Scott as a Calvinist minister whose daughter Kristen disappears while on a church uhmm sponsored field trip to California. So he ends up hires a private investigator, the father than discovers his daughter has become a porn actress.

Pretty gripping and powerful most especially thanks to George C. Scott who is utterly convincing in his role. I really enjoyed how it went from his relatively quiet peaceful life to the seediness and the scum he encounters in California, its a real eye opener for us the viewer and Scott's character. The story and pacing keeps you entirely engaged(never felt like it dragged on which is very important to me) from start to finish and we as the viewer really want to know what has happened to his daughter too.

I'd definitely give this 9/10. A must for any Scott fan.

I rented Everybody Wants Some!! from Lovefilm, just before I cancelled my membership, and thought it was brilliant. Predictably enough for a Richard Linklater film, the soundtrack is superb, the naturalistic acting makes some scenes feel more like observational documentary than a tightly scripted comedy-drama and all the characters are completely believable and engaging, so the Dazed and Confused comparison isn't inaccurate.

When it is in a sale, I'll buy it and love it again.

Everybody Wants Some is less than £10 in HMV. Not quite as good as Dazed And Confused ( what is ?) but still a fantastic film.
