I have just watched this classic movie based on the short novella The Body by Stephen King. 4 boys, tough guy Chris (River Phoenix) sensitive Gordie (Will Wheaton), Hyper daft Teddy (Corey Feldman) and wimpy Verne (Jerry O Connell). Decide to leave their small town under a lie to their parents to look at the dead body of 12 year old Ray Bower who went missing. On their trail is Ace Merrill (Killer Sunderland) and his gang who want the claim that they found the body. The is a comedy drama of true friendship and coming of age adventure. This film is a 10 out of 10.

Excellent film, pretty damn near bang on adaptation of King's novella too, from the same book as the Shawshank Redemption and Apt Pupil, only part not adapted is the Breathing Method (another great story)

Tremors In the small town of Perfection 2 locals try to leave to make for a better life. unfortunately for them they note somethings afoot every time they try to leave. they then realise that there are giant ass worms and they decide to warn the town and then have to fight for survival. for what this film is, it's great the acting is great and the giant worms stand out. the best characters in the film are the gun enthusiasts. 8/10

Watched The Dark Tapes at mates behest. Compendium FF flick. 2nd and 4th stories were the most effective, some nice wee twists made this slightly more enjoyable to peruse. Assassination Classroom: The Graduation (2016, Eiichuro Hasumi) Fairly wacked out Japanese film based on a TV show. Gotta kill them all!! Not quite...but this might have worked better without the rather distracting flashback sequence. Breakheart Pass (1975, Tom Gries) Bronson plays a man "without violence" . The wife plays the totty, Richard Crenna, Ben Johnson, Charles Durning and Ed Lauter take up the slack. Written by A Maclean, you know what you're getting. For a PG rated film, there is a fair amount of violent death in it. IMO. Lawdy!
