It's probably no coincidence as they are written by Shane Black, but I loved the chemistry between Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling in The Nice Guys, Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and, in Iron Man 3, between Robert Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow/Don Cheadle/Ty Simkins*.

Shane Black does dialogue like few other modern screenwriters and is one of the best people at writing buddy comedies.

The three films you have mentioned I have never watched them so I can't comment on them, Shane Black as a,writer is great as he is getting involved in the new Predator movie.

You've really missed out if you like the Lethal Weapon films and generally any well-written buddy comedies, perhaps including 48 Hrs. and the Rush Hour films. If you have enjoyed any of those then you should add those Shane Black-scripted movies to your 'watch' list.

Logan Lucky (2017, Steven Soderbergh)
An enjoyable enough film. If you like John Denver and actors sparring with each other to see who can come up with the worst accent that is.
I'll stick with Thunderbolt & Lightfoot methinks

I haven't seen 48 Hrs. Since the 1990s and don't think I have seen all three Rush Hour films!

A true classic that's as funny now as the first time I saw it, a film I never get bored of both Martin and the late great John Candy are both on top form. 10/10

Next more candy in the form of either Delirious or Summer rental.

Adding to that, the chemistry between Riggs and Murtaugh is as good as in the first film and the action sequences are superbly executed, so it works as an action movie without factoring in the global politics and social commentary.
Back in the day i liked it because of Patsy Kensit's nakedness.

Well if you want to look at other aspects of the film than the chemistry between the two leads, the comedy, the action sequences and geopolitical commentary, then it has other selling points which should definitely be considered.

Lethal Weapon 3
Riggs and Murtaugh are lowered to being patrol cops after accidentally detonating a bomb, they end up joining forces with internal affairs to stop an ex cop from stealing arms and selling them.
The 3rd in the series; its still a strong continuation of it. Pesci starts getting annoying in it, but meh I can live with.
7/10
