I bought it last spring so not quite a year.

CL member Michael Brooke talks about it in his kitchen for 20 minutes.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

My second viewing, and I’m still adamant that it’s a great film. Actually, I think I liked it even more this time. In my top 3 after Empire and A New Hope, respectively.

**** out of *****

Vice Squad (1982)

Martin Scorsese loved this so much, he said it should've received an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. When the greatest living filmmaker says that, then you know to take seriously this tough piece of action crime drama exploitation. Ramrod is one of the great underrated cinematic villains.

**** out of *****

I've seen another M Brooke feature from his kitchen!
Makes a change from Kim Newman's study, the number of times I've seen that stack of CDs

H6: Diary of a serial killer 2005

Antony Frau a convicted killer released from prison inherits a building from a relative, begins kidnapping, raping and murder women while leading a double life as a happily married man with his wife Fransica.

I got this on a blind buy i never heard of it before, this is a entertaining movie from Spain.

There are some brutal scenes but never seen on camera, only heard but plenty of blood, the style of movie is like a snuff movie, its like being a voyuer seeing something bad yet cant look away. We see the the main actor killing his girlfriend, reading law while in prison and a book based on serial killer and slowly his mind becomes warped and turn sadistic.

This is a decent film to watch with the lights out 9/10.

Audition is a fantastic film, but I do find it hard to get through which is why I still haven’t upgraded to the Arrow blu

I thought it was rubbish. It came out during the wave of torture porn and everything that happened was off camera. A right waste of time.
