Since the new film is now out, I revisited both of the old Tomb Raider films on UK blu-ray. They're both 3/5 films, not godawful but not that great either. I went to see the first one at the cinema and all I could recall is that many male members of the audience uttered a noticeable collective groan when a shower scene ended up showing a male torso.

Nice that the first film is now uncut and it was interesting to see Daniel Craig (with a rubbish American accent!). Cost 8 pounds for a 1/2 collection at Sainsburys and Cex gave a generous 5 pounds cash for it. So although I didn't want to keep the discs, I'm certainly not upset with deciding to pick them up. btw Was interesting to recognise crew names of regular James Bond franchise participants on the credits of both movies.

House II: the second story 1987

After returning to his family home, Jesse learns of his old great-great grandfather and a crystal skull he was buried with that has magic powers. Jesse and his friend charlie dig up his relative who is a walking, talking zombie and alot of funny shinanigins and old foes appears.

The way i can describe this film is like a house of laughs, with a hole leading cave of Aztec people, a room thats like The Land that time forgot, and through a window that leads to a old western town.

This is definatly one of the cheesiest films of the 80s that comes with more comedy than horror and good one liners, Ayer Gross and Johnathan Stark keep us entertained with the quirky comedy moments. Royal Dano (killer klowns from outer space, something wicked this way comes) plays Gramps who blends in well at a halloween party, does deliver a good performance which is laughable. Kane Hodder who was the stunt co-ordinator does make a cameo appearance. The bad side to it was the CGI effects which were a bit of a let down, still good and watchable. 6.5 out of 10.

Well the past couple of days have annoyed me, so I decided to watch Kentucky Fried Movie.
I still love it and it always seems to make me laugh.
