I own this double-feature disc. Bit-rate for part 2 is a little bit starved but the actual presentation doesn't seem to suffer too badly imo. Worth owning.

btw As I said, this is one of the films my wife refuses to re-watch.

The Antichrist (1974)

Average Italian Exorcist rip off boasting some deliciously decadent scenes of Satanic ritual. A great performance by Carla Gravina sadly can't hide an unexceptional script which reveals itself to be thrilling at times and yawn inducing at others.

The Howling (1981)

Classic werewolf film that seems to improve with each viewing. The werewolf transformation effect is still one of the benchmarks.

The Witchmaker (1969)

Deadly dull deep south witchcraft affair that seems to consist of old blokes sat round a table chatting for the most part. The actual witch coven finale is as exploitative as a daffodil. PG rated horror at a time when the genre was starting to go for broke.

Great film but I never know what to make of the final Yorkshire Terrier werewolf.

Terrifier (2018)

One of the best slasher films of recent years. It's a gorehound's wet dream, and there's underlying blacker than coal humour to be found in a grim and nasty affair, which has a real Maniac '80 vibe going for it.

Shotgun (Addison Randell)

One of the more inept films I have seen already. Ian 'Shotgun' Jones and his pardner Max clean up the mean streets of LA. Their boss doesn't approve of their methods. So Ian becomes a bounty hunter . Quite a dull little flick tbh. Though interesting as a historical document ....

Is it as low budget as the previous film?

Keirarts enjoyed it. I was looking at it in Asda today.

Final Destination 3
A group of people survive a roller-coaster accident and are killed off one by one by Death himself.
Better than the previous two, however it does not improve until the exposition and foreshadowing has been done. Some good deaths though.

I honestly thought it was the weakest of all 5 but still a entertaining watch none the less tho.
