Street Trash (1987) I don't know what I was expecting from a film with the title "Street Trash", but it certainly lives up to its name. The plot: To be honest... I'm not sure. Something to do with homeless men, a cop trying to find a homeless mobster of sorts and people dissolving after drinking 60-year-old wine. The plot is almost non-existent. I know the point of this film is to be as crude and as disgusting as possible, which is fine by me. I loke the odd gross movie now and then but I just didn't get it or find it interesting at all. Some of the effects are okay, I guess. It seems to be this massive cult film and I have no idea why. Am I missing something? It has nudity, gore, amputated penises, urination, attempted rape, endless swearing and It also has this really annoying Troma humour, but here's the twist! It isn't a Troma movie!!! I wouldn't have doubted it for a second if someone told me it was. Did I mention this is 1 hour 41 minutes long?! I haven't been this let down by a film since I watched Society. 3/10

The Fog (1979) John Carpenter's ghostly masterpiece is an exercise in creating and sustaining terror. From Adrienne Barbeau's terrific performance as DJ Stevee Wayne whose sensual tones ease you into the film before becoming more frantic as events unfold, to Carpenter's eerie, rumbling score, and then there's that spooky campfire tale told by old Mr. Machen on the stroke of midnight on the 21st April (I was only two days out this year with my viewing) which immediately draws you into the terrifying possibilities of what is to come. A fine cast, primitive but great effects and some of the best widescreen 2.35 : 1 photography in horror cinema culminate in one of the best horror films ever! |

Sir!! I also love The Fog. Kudos!! AP want £ for Almost Human ... found Cannibal Holocaust though Watching Devils Express (76) instead . Then Thor The Conqueror methinks!! .. they liken it to Conquest in the spiel, so that should be fun
