Paul kersey has moved to Los angeles after his vigilante killing spree in New york. his daughter is finally getting better after getting raped.
but everything goes pear shaped again when he's out with his daughter and girlfriend, Jill ireland who turns up in every film he made, when another gang of scum bags pinch his wallet.
later after getting his address from his wallet they go to his house and break in, raping the maid and killing her with a crow bar and kidnapping the daughter.
after taking the daughter to a abandomed warehouse and raping her she commits suicide by jumping out the window.
this leads to Charles bronson getting out his gun again and going on another rampage.

this i like very much indeed. a bit far fetched after the first film but still excellent entertainment. and unlike the first film Bronson actually gets the punks who did the crime this time.
one of my favorite parts is when he gets one of them who is wearing a cross and Bronson goes, so you believe in Jesus? and the punk goes , yes i do. then Bronson answers, good because your going to meet him. then blows him away. That made me laugh so much.

Chasing The Dragon (Wong Jing / Jason Kwan)

Sprawling crime saga centred round warring triad factions in 60s/70s Hong Kong. Exciting stuff. .

Mad Max. 1979

In a dystopian future, a lone police officer Max goes after a biker gang who burned his partner and killed his wife and son.

Proof that a low budget movie can become a classic after 30 years and most of it shot on a empty road with appearances of a few buildings.

Mel Gibson is great in this film as tough young policeman and family guy, who's world is ripped apart. George Miller's vision for this is brilliant and the first 10-15 minutes is adrenaline rush with the car chase.

Hugh Keays-Byrne is brillliant as the leader of the bikers Toecutter, his menacing portayal is creepy as he is playing games, you know what he is planning to do to someone but slowly paces out the mindplay. 8 out of 10

LA Story. A professionally successful but personally dissatisfied LA weatherman finds himself getting advice on his muddled love life from a rather unexpected source - an apparently sentient and benevolent electronic freeway road sign. Steve Martin stars in this witty and engaging early 90s romantic comedy with a touch of fantasy. This used to be a regular watch during the 90s but I only picked it up on DVD a year or two ago and have only just got around to seeing it again, at least 16 years since my last viewing, and I'm pleased to find it still stands up. One of Martin's last great comedies, LA Story is as charming and funny as ever.*

All the Colours of the Dark
Sergio Martino directs Edwige Fenech, George Hilton, Susan Scott in a cross between Romemary's Baby and Romero's Season of the Witch done Italian style, lots of cool music & London locations & a good guessing game as to whether our lead is mad or not, bit complicated towards the end but a fun watch & a keeper.
Need to watch extras(interview/commentary) at some point!

She Wolf of London (1946)

You see that bush over there? Well there won't be a She Wolf lurking behind it and i won't beat around it. This film is woeful.

Barely a horror movie at all, completely lacking in tension, in fact it's more a melodrama about an old family curse that's as far removed from the Lon Chaney original as could be. There's lots of chatter from women sobbing in bed but nothing in the way of werewolf action.

It's not bad in the production sense. London is it's usual foggy self and the sets are good but overall i think this is the worst of all the Universal horror movies of the time.

Enjoyable second outing for Ant-Man and now at last The Wasp.
Shame that a lot of the action set pieces were in the trailer as the trailer did spoil a lot of these scenes.
Links to CIVIL WAR and a good extra credits scene.
Not as grand in scale as some of the Marvel films but a good two hours of fun.

The Sound & The Fury (James Franco)

Franco vs Faulkner. Split into 3 'chapters' focusing on the male siblings of a faded Southern family. JF plays Benjy, the 'slow' brother, fair play to him I says. He has surprised me before (Interior Leather Bar, King Cobra etc) and this was no different really.


The Humanity Bureau (Rob King)
Middling dystopian scifi caper. Nicolas Cage continues to dye his hair. It doesn't really amount to anything new. Bureau 'tracker' sees a new path when on a routine job. Meh.

Edge Of Tomorrow (Doug Liman)
To boil down the rather expansive All You Need Is Kill into one movie ... well just read AYNIK. But I liked it .... and not just because I get to watch The Cruiser get got . Just as hokumy (??) as that Bureau dreck, but the budgetary elevation made all the difference.

Tour De Pharmacy (2017, Jake Szymanski)
Spoof based on the doping scandal during the '82 TDF. Michael Sheen excels in a tiny role. Very silly in places.
