Forbidden photos of a Lady under suspicion(1970)

minou(Dagmar lassander) gets attacked by a chap on the beach and tells her that her husband is a murderer. and later ends up in compromising photos by the blackmailer.

pretty entertaining giallo in deed from director Luciano ercoli, who did death walks in High heels. even if it is rather tame though compared to a lot of other films in this genre, apart from a few mild sex and assault scenes.
But Dagmar looks terrific though in her very fetching outfits, as does Nieves Navarro who also co-stars as well.
and is well directed with a lot of style and colour. great score, too. 76 out of 100.

Seven (1979, Andy Sidaris)

What a year. William Smith and Martin Kove battle it out in Hawaii. If you are acquainted with the work of the Sidaris, then you know what to expect. Reggie Nalder pops up as a pervy hitman cough. Highly fricking Recommended.

Triple Frontier (2019, JC Chandor)

Ben Affleck and Oscar Issac come up with a novel solution to their financial worries . Quite gripping in places. Recommended.

Murder Mystery (Kyle Newacheck)

Yes, I enjoyed this and look forward to the sequel (come on! It writes itself ). Ahem. Even Saaaandler's moustache

Angel Heart

Burroughs always said "Watch whose money you pick up".
This is never truer than here, as a low rent PI is sent to find a missing singer. Still quite creepy tbh. Even if Rourke doesn't quite convince as a 50s character (imo).

I like rourke in Angel Heart, if only because he looks like a normal human being and not like he was trying to look like Freddie Krueger aw I'm terrible

[QUOTE=Demoncrat;606025]"If it moves, review it!!!"

(only 4?? )

Not much to say, that hasn't already been said! Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but gave it 4 because I need a bit of breathing space for my all time favourite westerns, that I enjoy just a bit more - High Plains Drifter, Unforgiven, Once Upon a Time.
Having said that, this was a damn fine film - the acting is top notch, the violence is pretty crazy and the end is just perfect. I'm no expert, but it appears that Peckinpah really liked close ups of people laughing!?
I have Cross of Iron cued up as my next Peckinpah.

Cross is a different beast, but well worth the wait. Enjoy. Tbh I have a blind spot where the Bunch is concerned, as twas the film that got me to reevaluate the Western. Cough.

Personally i think The Wild Bunch sags a bit in it's mid section. It does seem to hold it's legendary status purely on the opening and final half hour.

Cross of Iron is excellent. Hope you enjoy it.

I think Paths of Glory is my favourite Kubrick film.
