The Unholy 1988.

After horrific murders related to catholic churches, a father's will is tested as he must do battle with a demon.

This was really enjoyable flick, Ben Cross plays Father Michael, after surviving a fall without a mark, his superior Archbishop Mosely played by Hal Holbrook believes he can do battle with the evil. The film does start off a bit slow but did get better, with a good background score that stops the boredom settling in and the special effects were good but could have been better. Nicole fortier does make a nice appearance as the seducing demon. 7 out of 10.

3rd time lucky ...

Munster, Go Home! (1966, Earl Bellamy)

Never really cared for this lot. But Terry-Thomas is in it so thought to persevere. Herman inherits an actual stately mansion replete with the actual semi inbred relatives. Hilarity ensues
Batfans should recognise the scenery as England it ain't guvnor
TT a hoot. The rest is piffle riffing on their shtick from the series. Next!

16 Blocks (2006)

Bruce Willis does a less road trippy version of Clint's Gauntlet as a cop who escorts witness Mos Def across 16 New York blocks to his court house hearing where he'll testify against other cops led by David Morse, who naturally go all out to stop him. Of course, a bus plays a big part in this movie.

I actually prefer this to The Gauntlet as this doesn't co-star Sondra Locke and Mos Def's Eddie is kinda endearing. Lethal Weapon director Richard Donner ramps up the tension the longer the film goes on and all in all 16 Blocks is a satisfying little thriller.

hard To kill(1990)

mason Storm(Steven Seagal) is a cop who gets evidence against a corrupt senator and finds himself and his family a target for assassination. and they kill his wife and leave him for dead in a coma. and 6 years later he finally wakes up in hospital with a full beard and looking like Russell Brand. then gets off with the sexy nurse kelly lebrook and recovers at her house by doing stallone like training and using buddist needles.

this is definitely one of Seagals best films before he started eating too many sausage rolls and sporting a bizarre looking hairpiece. up there with Commando and Lone Wolf McQuade in the action and comedy department.
great Clint Eastwood style scene as well when he kicks the asses of a bunch of mexicans in a liquer store which certainly reminded me of Dirty Harry.

Excellent recommend, hilarious one liners, and with all the brutal bone breaking scenes that he was known for, including a superb pool cue to the throat. 83 out of 100.

Scared Stiff 1987.

A singer with her boyfriend and son move into a house that's haunted by a ruthless plantation and slave owner.

This was a pretty low budget movie from the late 80s that was good to watch, okay the acting is not best, the make up was a laugh but the story line made it worth watching. Mary Page Keller plays the singer who seems to have visions of the old plantation owner and Andrew Stephens plays her ex psychiatrist and boyfriend who gets possessed, maybe Satan isn't sexist who gets possessed.6 out of 10.

Kill, Baby...Kill 1966.

A Carpathian village is being haunted by a small girl, a coroner and medical student dwell into her death, and a witch trying to protect everyone.

Nobody could have pulled off what Mario Bava done with this movie, filmed on a low budget, that the producers ran out of funds not long into shooting and everyone working for free, how Bava persuaded the actors to do that was amazing and bring us this masterpiece. Giacomo Rossi Stuart takes the lead role of Dr. Paul Eswai, who tries to uncover a death of a child. From start to finish its full of dark atmosphere, brilliant cinematography and a good background score. One to watch on a dark night.

The Snake Woman (1961)

A decent if unspectacular British Gothic horror B-movie set in Cumbria at the end of the 19th century and was quite possibly the inspiration for Hammer's The Reptile some five years later.

I don't really think anything needs adding as the above paragraph will either make you want to see this film or not.

I love my British and Gothic horror and have seen this at least three times now. At a mere 67 minutes it doesn't outstay it's welcome.

The Theory of everything - Nice flick, but this biopic movies normally are always full of happiness never show any problems/dark areas - still an excellent job by Eddie Redmayne.

Little Evil - what a pile of crap, I like my comedy/horror movies (e.g. Tucker and Dale, Shaun of Death) - but this is the worst movie probably I saw in my life, and I already saw a lot of shitty movies lol

John Wick 3 - When the first John Wick came out, everybody was wetting their pants, a real action movie with good fights, shooting, violent - now the 3rd part looks it's already in auto-pilot, a little of introduction - 10 minutes of fight, a little more of "story", 20 minutes of fight again.. and Keanu Reeves oh my god.. this guy it's a mystery for me - How does he manage to do so many movies with that acting skills

Body of Lies (2008)

Despite very good performances from Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe and Mark Strong, i find Ridley Scott's film a bit of a slog. It's all very po-faced and talky.

The action, when we get any, is well done but there's too much eye in the sky viewpoints and not enough excitement. I realise not every film needs to be 'crash boom bang' but this lacks any real spark or tension until the last twenty minutes or so.

It is however not a criticism of the film when you say Russell Crowe phones in his performance.

The Watermen (2012)

A clan of watermen (fishermen) abduct a group of unwary travellers from their luxury yacht and take them back to their island to chop them up and sell them as bait. An intense fight for survival ensues as our intrepid young heroes try to escape with their lives.

The Watermen has everything thrown into the mix in this modern outdoor survival horror. A lot of violence,- Breast implants removed with dirty knives, arms sliced open and pitch forks through legs are just a few of the juicy highlights, as well as the usual gruesome imagery, rape, and a director who seems determined for his leading ladies to flash their boobs at every opportunity.

The film has plenty of minus points. The opening scenes are practically amateur hour with the three lead actresses seemingly reading their lines from cue cards, and the early scenes with the three guys had me almost switching off as Jason Mewes shoved his ball sack into the camera. Fortunately things soon settled down, Mewes stopped the shite impersonation of his popular Jay role from his time working with Kevin Smith and we actually had a bit of characterization. There were also a few plot holes big enough for a trawler to sail through but i can forgive those. The Watermen themselves appeared almost inhuman, their voices echoing like ambient sound rather than audible dialogue which was odd to say the least.

Admittedly i'm a fan of survival horror, and on the whole i liked this film. What set it apart for me was the setting. It's very rare for a low budget horror film to be set out at sea making the first fifty minutes quite memorable, so its only the final third that comes onto shore, albeit an island, and the film becomes generic hack n' slash in the vein of Storm Warning. The location photography was very good, at times beautiful, at other times quite foreboding.

I may well be on my own in liking this film. indeed it has an air bordering on misogyny that may put some off, but if you enjoy survival horror then it may be worth ninety minutes of your time.
