The Day After is a comedy compared to either Threads and WTWB. IMO. Wolf Lake (1980, Burt Kennedy) Rod Steiger and company just want to enjoy their holiday. But being American, guns have to come into it sadly. It's "about" Vietnam. 6 years later, some wounds do not heal. Steiger plays his usual self righteous blockhead with ease. Jerry Hardin ably acquits himself in the background.

Dogtooth A mum and dad keep their children confined to the house and parameters to leave them ignorant, however when the son starts having sexual desires it ****s everything up. Such a dark movie. I'd still recommend it Sent from my PRA-LX1 using Tapatalk

Spellcaster (1988, Rafal Zielinski) More Full Moon gubbins. Winners of a contest assemble in a castle. But neglect to read the small print The prosthetics are decent enough. Adam Ant appears ... briefly It did cheer me up after that Steiger flick, which was a bit grim tbh.

The Fanatic (Fred Durst) See The Actor instead. At least there's nae mention of Limp Bizkit in that. Yeah. Word. Cute Maniac reference imo. See The Actor though. That was unsettling in a way this could never be.
