The Day After is a comedy compared to either Threads and WTWB. IMO.

Wolf Lake (1980, Burt Kennedy)

Rod Steiger and company just want to enjoy their holiday. But being American, guns have to come into it sadly. It's "about" Vietnam. 6 years later, some wounds do not heal. Steiger plays his usual self righteous blockhead with ease. Jerry Hardin ably acquits himself in the background.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie
Turned on Netflix to find something to watch and saw that the new film with Zach Galaxyquest was in this weeks Top 10, so I gave it a shot because he’s usually funny, checked a few IMDb reviews first and most said it wasn’t very good, but I thought sod it and watched it anyway. I was laughing within the first five minutes and laughed right up to the credits, so it’s definitely worth a watch!
Basically, it’s a fake documentary about his talk show and features him interviewing such stars as Keanu Reeves, Paul Rudd, Benedryl Cumbucket, David Letterman, Peter Dinklage, Brie Larson etc mixed in with his interactions with his team as they try to make it to LA where Will Ferrell has promised him a Network talk show

4/5

Dogtooth
A mum and dad keep their children confined to the house and parameters to leave them ignorant, however when the son starts having sexual desires it ****s everything up.
Such a dark movie. I'd still recommend it

Spellcaster (1988, Rafal Zielinski)

More Full Moon gubbins. Winners of a contest assemble in a castle. But neglect to read the small print
The prosthetics are decent enough. Adam Ant appears ... briefly
It did cheer me up after that Steiger flick, which was a bit grim tbh.

Oh I completely disagree: people barking like dogs, incest and toy planes.

The Fanatic (Fred Durst)

See The Actor instead. At least there's nae mention of Limp Bizkit in that. Yeah. Word. Cute Maniac reference imo. See The Actor though. That was unsettling in a way this could never be.
