Stallone plays a mechanic who ends up in prison due to a miscarriage of justice,(well something like that) but on the verge of being released he is moved to a full maximum security prison by nasty prison warden Donald Sutherland.(he has a grudge against Stallone, for a reason to banal or unbelievable for me to remember).Lock Up is not a particularly bad movie, but it does suffer from all the usual prison clichés, corrupt warden, corrupt guards, sympathetic guards, sympathetic old timer prisoner and of course young new prisoner who can’t keep his mouth shut...This is a late 80’s film so Stallone is still looking good, and manages to be convincing in his numerous fight .Trouble is the film doesn’t know in which direction it wants to go, one minute it’s trying to be Mean Machine, Stallone is also an ex American football player, the next it’s Escape From Alcatraz. If your looking for some dumb non sensical action, then you could do a lot worse, for example Escape Plan 1,2 and 3.
I know what you're saying about the usual clichés but sometimes simple is good, no need to change the wheel when you don't have to.

No one dressed like that. No one spoke like that. And if they did , they sure weren't worth idolizing. AWFUL. And yet again, no black people go to this school???
Hughes must DIE.
I thought the same maybe it's one that would have been better watched in the 80's

I would guess for cinema, but it's only at the pre-production stage yet.

With film production at a minimum at the moment i'd think 2022 would be the earliest date for it's release.

Aside from having a good cast and a small cameo by Stephen King, this was a bit of a disappointment to the next chapter and weird ass ending that im sure it was different from the book (it has been a while since i read the book). Bill Skarksard returns to the role of Pennywise and more creepy but with the CGI effects somewhat made it stupid and too much comedy moments made it hard to rake it seriously.
Yeah I was disappointed too, it was also too long

Must admit with all the free time I have currently, it's nice to re-watch some favorites of mine along with watching some really long films which I don't normally get the chance to watch in their entirety.

By the looks of it I'm not the only one dusting off guilty pleasures

Underwater

Even though horseface herself is in it, I had to give it a go.
Surprise, it's a decent enough acquatic actioner (ish). Beastie ahoy!! Ahem.
Worth a look.

Grans aka Border (2018, Ali Abbasi)

This was worth the wait. A border security officer with an unusual talent meets someone who may or not know something about her past. Quite affecting really. It's not an easy watch, but was captivatiing enough.

My guilt was actually enjoying Witchcraft with Linda Blair and David Hasslehoff and maybe Cannibal Terror
