I really like this film, ant. Code Red released a long-awaited 35th Anniversary Edition last year, which is excellent and definitely worth picking up.

Thanks for that bizzare_eye, problem is I don't have a multi-region player. I only have my PS3 and some forums people say the PS3 is multi-region and others say it isn't so don't know yet. I guess I should just order a region 1 dvd cheap as a tester (unless anyone has something they no longer want? )

Yesterday I watched Jack ketchum's The Girl Next Door, which was quite good. Well acted by all, including the kids and a little nasty in places as it's quite a controversial subject to tackle on film. 3 stars.

Also watched The Hide, which I thought was great. I guess you could call it a pyschological drama but it's hard to give it a genre. It's about a bird watcher who spends his days alone in The Hide on a marshland in Suffolk until one stormy afternoon a guy turns up at the door, unshaven, edgy and bloodied. The entire film is about these 2 characters talking and revealing their lives to each other. Sounds boring but it strangley captivates you as it's well acted, scripted and directed. Not for all people but was definitely for me. 4 stars.

Nope PS3 is not multi-region for DVDs or Blurays.
No one has hacked it yet.

You read the Girl Next Door book? You should if you aint, one of the best books I ever read. its quite a tough read too. Emotional ending too.
The movie was good, I bought the US DVD when it was first released. I knew they would not show everything from the book as they would get into trouble
They show just enough to disturb you.

Last night I watched two films. Starting with Bigfoot: An Unforgettable Encounter which is the single most stupid film EVER made. SOOO STUPID! Then I stuck in Amityville II: The Possession and watched that which was incredible - although I feel it should've ended with the murders rather but apart from that it was brilliant.
