The Woman. 2011.

Successful lawyer and family man Chris Cleek finds the last survivor of the violent clan, he brings her home and chains her up in order to attempt to civilize her unaware of the danger he has put his family in.

A direct sequel to Offspring which The woman (Pollyanna McIntosh) is the last survivor of the cannibals is seen by Chris (Sean Bridgers) and captured, this may be disturbing to some, not with the escapades (or maybe) how the woman can be tortured but the mind wonders on the Cleek family background, some bits are basically blink and miss. The actors involved were good and sometimes had you wondering what was going through their minds, only downside to the Arrow release i had was the volume, kept having to turn it up and down, other than that it was enjoyable like the previous film and nice little twist in it.

Default Girl Next Door, You Only Like Twice, Lion Strike, Out For Blood & New York Ripper

Girl Next Door

An ambitious high school senior Emile Hirsch with dreams of a career in politics is overjoyed to discover that his new neighbor Elisha Cuthbert is absolutely beautiful, and they quickly fall head over heels in love. Their relationship is put to the test, however, when he discovers that she used to be a porn star and her former Boyfriend turns up.

I love this film, it's sweet and intelligent without resorting to gross out gags. It also has a killer soundtrack.

Oh yeah, Cuthbert is absolutely hot in this.

You Only Live Twice

Sean Connery is Bond out stop SPECTRE from starting a Cold War. Very interesting film even though, I'd like to have seen more of Blofold. I am more of a villain guy when it comes to this type of series and superherp movies.

Lion Strike (AKA Ring Of Fire III)

Don "The Dragon" Wilson is back as Johnny Wu, this time saving his son and himself from a crime syndicate have unwittingly obtaining a disk. He is assisted by a Park Ranger.

I believe that this was intended to be originally called Ring Of Fire III as he is still the same character but only with a brief mention of his wife and a returning Detective, it's really a stand alone movie therefore I believe that they renamed it Lion Strike to get more Rentals. Oh yeah if you like Don Wilson and PM Entertainment Group movies then you'll probably like this as I did.

Out For Blood

Don Wilson and PM Entertainment Group movie again as he turns vigilante after his family is killed, Again, I loved it as these sent me back to my teenage years.

Wishful thinking but I really hope that someone releases these low budget Action/Martial Arts movies that Video Stores had during the late 80's-Early 90's

New York Ripper

Notorious would have been Video Nasty about a serial killer brutally slicing up Women.

Enjoyable if you are into this kind of thing. Interestingly Shameless (To their dismay) couldn't get it uncensored so could there be a uncensored re-release on the way in the near future.

I also hope that Shameless stick around and are more active, I enjoyed mostly what they put out and I believe that they paved the way for 88 Films.

It wasn't my first viewing, however it is a good example of a British second feature of the period. I'm also a fan of the Edgar Wallace Mysteries series.

Darlin'. 2019.

Abandoned at a hospital, young Darlin is taken in by a catholic boarding house run by the church, with her feral instincts noticeable, the nuns and the bishop try to civilize Darlin, while the woman attempts to take her back.

Can a person from a normal ish background be taken in by a feral woman, grown up knowing what she has learned, then be taken in to be civilized again to be normal. This film is like a book once a sentence starts and never seems to finish properly, Pollyanna McIntosh returns as The Woman but also writer and director and fair dues she does try her best to make it entertaining as we can only second guess on what is going on behind closed doors.

The film does seem to be very anti-religion with catholic priests and young girls which may be distressing to some and uncomfortable to watch and we always wait for karma to make a appearance. Lauryn Canny plays Darlin pretty well as she is is shown how do adapt but her feral instincts are still active and after a time you wonder when she will strike. This was enjoyable but a second viewing is in order to find some answers from the plot.
