Well they do say more or less every film has a porn parody wether it’s genuine porn or not.

Cheerleader Massacre (2003)

I was wondering exactly why i still owned this Roger Corman produced, Jim Wynorski directed sequel to The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) in which Brinke Stevens reprises her role as Linda, including a flashback sequence.

And then on 55 minutes it became clear. The film features the most ridiculous, utterly gratuitous hot tub scene with three girls and chocolate sauce followed by Tamie Sheffield who spends the rest of the movie soaping herself up in the shower.

Oh, and there's a bit of gore too.

By the end i'd decided the only reason i still owned Cheerleader Massacre was because no other f*cker in their right mind would want it.

Amityville: A New Generation. 1993.

A photographer is given a mirror from a homeless person, soon after it begins to effect him and his friends, soon he realises he has a connection to the mirror and the homeless man, with the help of a detective.

A different take on the film, It has the same premise of the 4th and previous film a haunted or cursed object from the house in Long Island finds it's way to someone and all hell breaks loose, but it shows part of a family living in the house before The Defeo's move in so gives a small feeling that something was wrong with the land. No one would win a academy award, not even David Naughton or Terry O'Quinn, there is some good visual effects done that the director went back to old school film effects, respect to him for that, Enjoyable.

The Thing. I finally watched a film in 2021! The crew of an Antarctic base come under assault from a shapeshifting extraterrestrial entity in this early 80s John Carpenter chiller that has stood the test of time very well. Kurt Russell is suitably badass as the no-nonsense loner who takes no crap from anyone, including alien nasties.

A group of soldiers in Romania unearth a tomb that contains members of the Dracula family , one of the soldiers stupidly removes a stake from Drac's prize pooch Zoltan whom kills said idiot and frees Draculas servant /ghoul . The two make their way to America to find the last descendant of the Dracula line and make him a vampire , a inspector ( José Ferrer) sets out too stop them.

It might sound silly but it's tense affair and pretty enjoyable. 7/10

A group of Satanists buy a dog and perform a ritual which possesses the animal with a demon, the dog has a group of puppies . One family receives one of these puppies , soon strange things start to happen their maid is mysteriously killed as is a neighbour and his dog, the farther(Richard Crenna) soon notices strange behaviour from his family , his children start to lie and cheat and perfrom unnatural rituals in the middle of the night, his wife turns into a gaint whore, while the dog can control people and appears indestructible, just how will be save his family from this very naughty doggie!

The two children might look familiar as they are the same two from the first two witch mountain movies. Ken Kercheval ( Cliff Barnes from Dallas) has a small role as one of the victims.

For a tv movie I found this quite tense and eeire, the devil form of the dog is laughable but it's still highly enjoayble. Crenna doesn't have much luck with pets or house's. 7.5/10

Now watching

History Of The World Part One (1981, Mel Brooks)

It's been a while. Must say tis rather racier than I remembered cough. The usual taboos are shredded oy vey already
Gregory Hines fits right into the cast, yes he does some dancing ...whadda ya gonna do?
The jokes are more integral this time, whereas with HA I felt he was trying to actually make a Hitchcock flick with schtick cough.
Enough already!

Amityville: Dollhouse.

A couple and their children move into a newly built house and discover a dollhouse that's a replicant of the house on Ocean Avenue. Soon after things begin to happen that can't be explained.

This is a bit of a messed up plot hole film, The new house looks near the same as the one from Amityville: It's about time film and looks cardboard at the end. The acting is not that great but laughable at some points that you basically want everyone to hurry up and die or just shut it completely. What has me questioning the film is the Dollhouse...who built it, why was it there, and why is there no mentioning of the name Amityville? Previous films mention the house or the town this one seems to by pass all that altogether.

The Undead (1957)

A cheapie from Roger Corman running at a mere 71 mins and filmed in a supermarket. Starring the statuesque Allison (Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman) Hayes as a medieval witch, in a film that also incorporates past life regressive experiments on a hooker and faux Shakespearean dialogue, seemingly as a prelude to Corman's Gothic run in the sixties.

Classic poster, not so classic movie, even if i really enjoy it.
