I've never watched this for the exact reason, but these modern takes on omnibus films don't interest me as much as say an Amicus one or Creepshow, you need time to let even a short story unfold, 26 films in 2 hours like ABCs of Death is too much.

I watched this when it came out hated it i remember a bit of buzz about it but it really fell flat for me. The idea of found footage is cool but how often is it executed properly ? Not very often in my experience.

Speaking of modern anthologies (don't know why I said omnibus before lol) has anyone seen The Mortuary Collection? it's been getting some great reviews.

I saw both VHS films a few years ago, pretty sure i reviewed them on here, and wasn't too impressed either. One or two decent segments with the odd bit of impressive gore but...

...let's just say i don't own the dvd's anymore.

As for modern anthology films, most aren't up to much but there are one or two Halloween ones that work. Trick r' Treat of course, but also Tales of Halloween too plus i also rather like All Hallows Eve.

I was seriously disappointed with Dyson and Nyman's Ghost Stories (2017) but have heard good things about Mexican? anthology South Bound.

I saw Ghost Stories on stage and it was atmospheric and scary, maybe it should have stayed as a play?

I also thought Ghost Stories was nothing special, didn't deserve all the good reviews it got.
They've shown Southbound on the Horror channel, i can't remember much except i thought it was better than average for a modern anthology.
