Police Destination Oasis (1981, "John O'Hara")

Eurocine white slavery caper.
Welded together from two films, this starts in a nightclub and ends with a loving embrace.
In between, there is some rape and the spiffing spectacle of seeing Jack Taylor playing a Bondish character.
All done their usual high standard

I need to see this. Jack Taylor as a spy rather than spying through holes in the wall at Dyanik Zurakowska in The Vampires Night Orgy.
Justin101 and Demoncrat like this.

Then I suggest you actually track down this, as this is the parent, the other 'alf being House Of Cruel Dolls (1974)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061337/

It's a staple round this lair.

Ghoul (2015, Petr Jakl)

4 murican clods traipse off to the Ukraine in order to free up some oxygen for the rest of us ahem.
FF.
All that was missing was the NSBM band rehearsing somewhere along the journey
Handed a set of keys, they blithely go hither. What a mindset. Go to foreign country, ignore all signs of impending doom, die.
I'd like to see one where they all have a great time, you know, like Carry On Abroad
Ahem. For all that the last quarter was fun as it all comes to a head.

Survivors from a torpedoed vessel find a Nazi ship which appears abandoned, they take refuge in the vessel and soon find that the crew are dead and have died in gruesome ways, it's not long before we find there is something evil on-board and a fight for survival starts. Acting was ok for the most part apart from the English guy, quite liked the look of the creatures and it kept me hooked to the end even if it's wasn't till about the last half things start happening. 7/10

Now watcbing.

St. Trinians 2: Legend Of Fritton's Gold

The gang is back and this time they are on a hunt to find the treasure left by a Pirate descendent of Miss Fritton before David Tennent and his Secret Society of male chauvinists. Not bad but not a patch on it's predecessor.

Nerve

Emma Roberts joins a game where she has to perform ever increasingly dangerous dares, she is assisted by Dave Franco. Once you get pass the fact that no-one in authority was aware and shut down the game, it's a very fine effort indeed. It's one of those under the radar films which you enjoy more than a film you've been looking forward too for a while.

Murphy's Law

Charles Bronson is a Detective who is framed by a recently released Woman he sent down. While making his escape, he has to team up with a fowl mouthed Car Thief. I found this to be an enjoyable 100 minutes.

Mike Bassett: England Manager

A mockumentery which follows the new England Manger in his new job, short and sweet which does have some funny moments.

It's is and it isn't, don't want to spoil too much.
