Straw Dogs.

I was looking for a "no-brainer" to watch last night and stumbled upon Open Water.
Not bad at all.

Today I've seen: Burke & Hare at the cinema which is pretty good but far from vintage John Landis and Vanilla Sky, the original Bad Lieutenant and Southern Comfort on DVD -- the latter two were better than the first.

Just watched Jackass 3D. It was really good, but there weren't that many memorable stunts/pranks.

Some more films watched while I've been laid up with septic toncilitis. :(

Magic Cop.
New York Ripper.
Tenebre.
Kenny.
District 13: Ultimatum.
Fast & Furious.
The Brood.
Dracula - Prince Of Darkness.

Watched The Final last night and it was a hell of a lot better than i had expected it to be, for some reason was reminded of Audition.

There was that sequence obviously referencing Audition with the acupuncture needles -- was that why it's reminded you of the film?

What films have you seen recently?

GIALLO

not as good as SLEEPLESS but better than TRAUMA and THE CARD PLAYER
expecting more violence but not to be
i still enjoyed the film
overall Argento should of done better with the gore and storyline
whether it has the US influence with the writers etc i don't know
but i will say disappointing
i don't care really because Argento has made great films in the past
the film isn't really a giallo in that sense
oh well............
stick to italian writers and producers Dario!

yes Nos, that's exactly why it reminded me of Audition, it was kind of torture porn but not at the same time because the kids had a motive for it. Great acting from the one who played Dane.

saw dream home last nite.
Overall I got bored cause of the backstory. It had some good scenes and deaths but wasnt enough IMO to keep me interested in it.
