Spiderman across the spider verse

A fantastic sequel that's probably even better than the original . A film that should be seen on the big screen. The different animation styles are fantastic and can see this getting a Oscar for animation just like the first .

Carry on Cabby

A early carry on in which we join Sid James , Hattie Jacques , Kenneth Connor and Charles Hawtrey. Sid owns and runs a cab company, he keeps ignoring his wife so she decides to set up her own cab company with woman drivers so a battle of the sexes begins . Enjoyable and watch out for Jim Dale in his first and minor role as a expectant farter .

Carry on at your convenience

My favourite carry on movie here we follow the the staff and management of Boggs a toilet manufacturer and a budgie that can pick the winning horses.

kind hearts and coronets

Another great Ealing comedy as we follow a man who murders his way to a Dukedom . Alec Guinness plays nine roles of all the murder victims.

Vamp

We follow a coupe of collage students Chris Makepeace and Robert Rusler who end up going to a strip club little knowing it's run by vampires . While maybe not the best vampire or horror comedy of the 80s it's still enjoyable.

Now watching a film that could of easily been about me

The Omen. 1976.

Following The Exorcist, The Omen tells the story of the son of Satan being born from a mysterious pregnancy and given to a U.S. ambassador and his wife in Italy. After a priest Patrick Troughton confronts Ambassador Gregory Peck about his son Damien and joins forces with photographer David Warner to look into the background of Damien's family tree. Lee Remick plays the ambassador's wife who is questioning her own parenthood and whether Damien is her biological son or not. Billie Whitelaw plays the new nanny and proper guardian of the son of Satan who would die to protect her master.

Richard Donner manages to keep the pace with this atmospheric chiller, right after the birthday party we see the pictures Warner takes and begins to question the mark and appears with Father Troughton. We know how he dies just a matter of when and when it happens you still can't turn away and the same with Warner's death.

From the church scene where Damien releases his anger on Remick, the tension of the film changes, yeah we know who he is but watching his parents trying to figure it out why their son has never been ill shows how two great actors can give out brilliant performances. One of the best scenes is the cemetery scene, after meeting Spilletti and told of a old graveyard, we see the dark tone gothic style atmosphere that basically tells you...are you really going to enter here, finding the answers and then being attacked by wild dogs. What also makes the film stand out is the Ave Satani score by Jerry Goldsmith that is perfectly used in the film especially with Troughton trying to find sanctuary.

Will Smith is a new York cop who captures a perp with some strange eye lids things take a weird turn from here on and more so when he meets the mysterious Kay ( Tommy Lee Jones) who is part of the super secret men in black and gets Smith too join . A highly enjoyable Sci-Fi comedy thanks too the two leads and the cast of whacky characters .

Now watching this , which is my first viewing of it. That kid is super annoying really wants to make me shut off!

Have you seen the 1973 version Treb, it may be a low budget made for tv film but certainly enjoyable. The HMV premium blu-ray is worth checking out.

Will do. Reading reviews it superior to this. Switched off in the end it was the dreadful CGI that did it.

Just about to settle down and watch some bit of a war film with a cast of nobodies - Robert Mitchum, John Wayne, Richard Burton, Sean Connery, Henry Fonda, Rod Steiger, Richard Todd and Robert Ryan...among others.

I might be some time.

I really liked it.

Thought it was miles better than the original in which bugger all happened until the last ten minutes.

I think we all have different opinions on Dracula films but Horror Of Dracula is a classic for me and never struggled with it yet it may not be for everyone.

The Last Shark. 1981.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water with stock footage of a great white shark. The film made by Enzo G. Castellari that was sued by universal for being a take on Jaws and yeah it is. Vic Marrow steps in as Quin the big fish hunter sporting a 70s porn star moustache. Sunny beaches, wind surfing competition and plenty of tourists to munch on for the mechanical looking...sorry the most realistic good thinking shark I have seen in a film. The dubbing does not do the film any justice and the death of the new Mayor is way to comical to take seriously, was the shark that was in this used in the later shark film Jaws the revenge??.
