A great film if your a fan of Heroic Bloodshed movies.
absolutely stunning film, one of To's best recent flicks. Anthony Wong is as you say too cool for school, even Lam Suet was great. Simon Yam is my fave asian actor and he was crazy cool in this..

I picked the Vengeance DVD up in Poundland a month ago and still haven't watched it yet. Might stick it on in a bit as I'm still home ill, might cheer me up a tad

Had a not so good weekends viewing. Watched Interview with the Vampire on BD and not only was it a shoddy transfer (I mean it really only looked DVD quality at best) but it really wasn't my cup of tea either. It was cringeworthingly camp and homoerotic but boring too. Don't get what the fuss was about. It had some nice gorey parts in but wasn't enough to save it for me unfotunately.
I then watched Magicians on TV and as I am a fan of Peep Show I expected this would be right up my street but in fact it was pretty dull and unfunny. It made me laugh a couple of times but the acting was poor and some of the jokes or gags just fell flat on their face. Disappointing stuff. Shame.

Yeah, I was really disappointed with Magicians too ant.

It was nowhere near the comedic genius of Peep Show.

Same here -- I saw it at the cinema and, once it had finished, thought 'Is that it?'. It was definitely missing Sam Bain and Jessie Armstrong as they are the keys behind Peep Show's success.

I've been watching a variety of things recently, and watched The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh twice last night -- it really is something special and I hope to have my review online in the next couple of hours.

Default I Spit On Your Grave (2010)

got a copy of ISOYG (2010) from the US, un-rated and un-cut.

In such a huge pile of current and coming soon reboots, I found this one really did the original justice. Just as un-comfortable to watch
