War of the Robots! What a film! I've only seen that once, but remember it being a lot of fun. Good choice!

I was in the same boat and got rid of my copy, ended up having to buy it again ,as a couple of years later i really wanted to watch it again, so something obviously stuck in my head from it.

I didn't mind the remake as it was suitably brutal and nasty. However, it wasn't a patch on the original which is still in shrinkwrap waiting to be watched. That's something I must do in the next couple of days but it will have to compete for time with The Dorm That Dripped Blood, Dead & Buried, The Prowler, The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue, Vampyres and Daughters of Darkness, along with dozens of other films that are either unwatched discs or are recorded on my V+ box!

Went to see FAST FIVE today (The Fast and Furious 5: Rio Heist title is only for marketing purposes, the title on the film itself is Fast Five). 2hrs of car chases, wooden acting from Paul walker and a lot of gravelly mumbling from Vin Deisel, and I loved every minute of it. From one throwaway line in the film, I think we'll have at least one more appearnce in the next film by Han (Sung Kang) before he heads off to Tokyo! There are also a nice couple of cameos that people need to look out for during the end credits.
