and i forgot to mention i sat through 5star's showing of North Sea Hijack...great to see the whole width of Moore's range

Just finished watching the original Ozploitation gem, Long Weekend. Truly a classic of the Nature-Strikes-Back mini-genre prominent in the 70s. With two excellent characters (acted perfectly) and a simple plot that just keeps getting more intense, this is one film you should check out if you havent done so.

I've yet to see the remake though - any good?

I liked it and keep meaning to review the original.

Speaking of which, I just realised I haven't put my review of the remake up on Film 365 yet. That's something to do before the week is out.

Don't Look Now - a genuine masterpiece of cinema, horror and generally!

Superb stuff, especially on Optimum's superb Blu-Ray.
