Watched 5150 Elm's Way earlier. I would recomend this french film,it has alot of originality.

There is 1 fairly shocking scene towards the end which I am surprised got past the BBFC,& you will never want to play chess or spend xmas in France!

I've given up on MacGruber - a completely humourless, ineptly directed and woefully acted spoof of a TV show I've never seen. It outstayed its welcome after about five minutes, but I somehow stuck with it until nearly an hour had passed.

Also crap, but crap in a good way, was Loch Ness Terror (thanks for the recommendation, Kyle). I think the original title Beyond Loch Ness was more appropriate, given the action apparently takes place in Canada, with Nessie having relocated from Scotland to Canada, seemingly without anyone noticing!

Watched Miner's House today for the first time and really enjoyed it. Mix Amityville Horror with Evil Dead 2 and you get something along the lines of this - one very fun film! I've yet to see the 2nd film, but the 3rd one is much much darker yet still enjoyable.

Risen/Armageddon Of The Dead - very cheap zombie flick in the Romero vein. Not very good, but better than you think it's going to be at the start and strangely likeable. Develops a sod of a downbeat feel as it goes on.

Just seen Good Neighbour

Its a thriller about 3 people that live in the same floor of a apartment block and then there is a murder there and things escalate.

Was a pretty good thriller and the acting was pretty good. Worth watching.

finally watched I SAW THE DEVIL last night....liked a lot, dont think twas u/c due to slight "jumps" which jarred with the editing style somewhat (though running time is about 140 minutes)...but MICHTY was worth the wait, nae as good as Oldboy but id recommend highly!!

I've got the Tartan/Palisades blu of The Proposition And its a huge upgrade from the original Tartan DVD. There's also a region A blu, but I can't comment on that as I've never seen it, but it does have a MUCH better cover.
