It's not just Satanic faces, there is also the very brief, almost subliminal, image of Father Karras's mother on the window just before he sacrifices himself to save Regan. It's my all-time favourite movie and has been for over a decade. I don't know how many times I've seen the film but it must be well over 100.

Them - Nice little thriller, short running time though. But I liked it.
Fright - Susan George was in it, that makes it instantly good. But I enjoyed it, good british horror/thriller.

Deadly Blessing - love this film (despite the dodgy ending!) The Arrow DVD is bare bones but the picture quality is great.

Return to Sleepaway Camp - more like a screwball camp comedy for the most part but the gore's not bad when it finally comes. OK

Nice assessment. I thought it was great too. My daughter (who is 11) and doesn't usually go for subtitled films said she would try the first five minutes to see what it was like and ended up watching it all. In fact she was quite disappointed to find out it was a rental and not my own bought copy.

New additions:

Paranormal Activity - Quite good and a nice ending, so glad they didn't screw things up by showing the demon or the possession.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: Yet to watch but the book was very good and I have heard that the film is pretty close to the book as well.

The Last House on the Left: Also yet to watch but after what I have heard on here it should be good, btw it is the original 1970's version not the remake.

I just found out that The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and it's sequels were originally supposed to be a 6 part tv series and were cut down for theatrical release. The longer versions (180mins each) have been released on dvd and blu-ray in the Netherlands but unfortunately they don't have english subtitles.

Here hoping for a special extended box set in the future then, or I'll have to learn dutch!
