Absolutely. With films like The Departed, Shutter Island and The Aviator on his cv he's come a long way since Titanic. Anyway, films I've watched recently are: Phantom Of Death Hostel 2 (with the Roth/Tarantino commentary on; interesting references to Night Train Murders and Torso as influences on certain parts of the film) Machete |

recently watched The Fighter, which is fantastic film, Christian Bale deserved the Oscar for that and a great perfromance from Wahlberg and especially Amy Adams who should have got the oscar over her co-star Melissa Leo. Really found my self getting into the whole Fight at the end as if i was actually watching a real boxing match. Highly recommended. i then watched Red Hill, an absolutely stunning Modern Western from down under, great cinematography, great performances, felt abit like Assault on Precinct 13 and points an it has the Goose off of Mad Max which is great. another Highly recommended film from this guy... |

Weird film, if you ask me. It was a tough one to sit through, and I am quite accustomed to nasty (horror) flicks. Angelina Jolie's character is really well portrayed by her, though. I once knew a woman who loved that film the way you do, but I wouldn't watch it again - but that has to be an emotionality thing, I guess. Greetings! |

It's a good film, great cast and good story. any film with Jolie in though is worth at least one watch in my opinion. |

Hope you mean Lenzi's cannibal flick, I have a broad tolerance for horror but Tobe's snooze-a-thon is too much for me, bet you eject it before the end( Gad, I hope you don't post that you think it's a classic) I'd feel like a right twonk then.

Dellamorte Dellamore is out there but I like the mix of nonsense and zombie-lore. The fact that local politicians seem o.k. with what's going on is a hoot. Gotta love the surreal ending.

Today I watched: A Fistful of Dollars Friday 13th part 6 (I think) - Jason Lives The Black Cat (Shameless/Fulci one) A Fistful of Dollars was amazing as ever, first time watching it in HD. Jason Lives was woeful in every way, too comedic and the self-aware metahumour was just cringeworthy I feel asleep during The Black Cat so will give it another go later in the week. Not a reflection on the quality of the film at all, was just really tired today. |

I got it for £9.99 on Play.com near the start of the year so it's always worth keeping an eye there in case it goes back down to that price.
