The BBFC passed it uncut and 15-rated.

Vip's,regarding hospital mate,get a portable dvd player-they're allowed now.
The missus got me one a few months ago Reaps , as you know i've had long term health problems for a few years now as I get brought in on overnight stays for 24 - 48 hr observation occasionally , so I was hoping they'd allow them in as it gets pretty bloody boring.

They've put 18 on the cover, probably used the Bonus material to up the age cert.
I'll know not to expect to much from that then.

Tomorrow im in town , so i'll get Wrestlemania on BluRay or any other interestling Wrestling titles on BluRay , and that Blackhorse version of Cannibal Holocaust as I aint got that version yet.

Thanks Vince.

Distributors often up the rating on the DVD covers if the film doesn't reach their preferred certificate. Don't Go In The Woods is 18-rated despite the entire package (inc extras) being a 15.

The trailers on Vipco discs always boosted the DVD certificate though.

So if the BBFC rate a film, a distributor can legally up the age to 18 and use the offical BBFC age logo even if the BBFC passed it 15.
I never knew that.
Thanks Vince.

It's abysmal. Possibly the worst of the Video Nasties.

I agree, definitely one of the worst films I've ever seen.

Agreed, Devil Hunter rules.

I was watching Cloverfield last night for the first time since seeing it in the cinema. I secured the double discer brand new for £2.35 delivered - bargain! Anyway it wasn't as good watching at home and as I originally thought it's one made for the cinema because you just can't get the full effect elsewhere. So those who are bad mouthing it only have themselves to blame for not catching its theatrical release. Still a very good film anyway.
