Glad you enjoyed revisiting it, SJ. Plus, good to see I'm not alone in relation to the Carnival of Souls comparison.

Watched Terrorvision.

I can see why some people disliked it at the time. The deliberately fake plastic looking sets and over the top performances must have seemed very odd to the audience first time round. I however loved it, especially for its oddness. This could have only got made under chales band (or perhaps corman) its very odd style is the perfect critique of TV obsessed materialistic society.

I also enjoyed the creature effects...

Next up when I get chance is VIDEO DEAD. But I think I might be watching GAME OF THONES (finally) with friends tonight.

Off topic but saw Henning Wehn: German Comedy Ambassador to Great Britain on his 2013 tour Henning Knows Bestest. Superb and unmissable. At last a genuinely funny, daring and original stand-up.

Not last night but a very amusing routine about how much he loves sectarianism, wants to get involved but finds it difficult as an outsider

Friday nights on horror channel grindhouse films,

Bikers, action, big guns, swearing, and plenty of topless women makes this a mixture of a cheese fest, just about sums this films up, if that's you're thing then sit back relax and enjoy.
