Not watched much aside from the Kelsey Grammer series BOSS (shame it was cancelled) and Disturbia. My lass wanted something tense but not violent and I thought it was best to start her off with something lightweight. She's off on Holiday so i'll watch a couple of things tonight. Tomorrow i'm off to Grimm up North in Manchester for four days of Horror! (the films should be good as well!) then hopefully i'll be coming back home to a job. Asda are calling me once the rotas are sorted to offer me a position, so no idea yet what i'm doing. All I know is its not going to be the entertainment section as that's had the same staff on it for ten years. None of them want to move on or take promotion. I mentioned that I had done the licensing tests when Blockbuster had stocked booze (I was running that part of the store before I was put on the games section) so I might be doing the Beers wines and spirits! But we shall see. Have all but stopped looking for jobs, applying for one a day because I don't want to sign off till the job is confirmed mine. Paranoid perhaps but after the year i've had its understandable. Still, just put in for a job at the local train station as a platform attendant. Its 10 hours a week over three days, works out about a £100 a week, it would be nice as it would boost my Amazon store loads with all the free train rides around the North west. |

Hostel I watched it on Channel 5 the other night, I have seen the film in the cinema and did own the DVD a few years back. Overall I did enjoy it and it's about a group of backpackers who are travelling Europe and they fall upon this warehouse that toures people for money. Includes a cameo by Takashi Miike and Eli Roth (director of the film) and considering it was meant to be gory - most of the violence was off screen. I prefer the sequel as it showed more. The children gave nothing to the story and could have been left out. Lots of sex and boobs in it. It was good but nothing brilliant |

The Shinjuku Incident Very much an unconventional Jackie Chan movie. It is a violent drama, with no comedy, death-defying stunts or martial arts involved In places, it reminded me of a Takeshi Miike film, and DePalma's version of 'Scarface' Highly recommended

Sharknado. And this lot are making a PKD film? Look, I know that even watching this was a bad idea, but mate was set on it. Shark In Venice was a masterpiece compared to this. Curse Of Chucky I hate that flipping doll. Always have, always will. Bad Guy (Kim Ki-Duk, 2001) was a bit traumatised by the ending of Breaking Bad, so didn't really give this the attention it deserved. A fairly grim tale of obssession from the charmer who brought us The Isle. will rewatch tonight!!

I'm the opposite. I didn't like he sequel because it showed too much. Far too graphic for my tastes. Hostel 1 was fine.
