From a personal point of view it rivals Frankenstein (1931) and The Wolf Man (1941) as best Universal monster movie any day of the week.
I LOVE the Invisible Man.IMO it's the most daring and 'nasty' of the old Universal classics.

I quite liked this up to a point, i thought it was well made, well shot and thoughtful, but didn't really add up to much in the end.
Needed a bit more explanation of what the creature was and a more interesting ending.
On the whole not bad, but don't expect too much.

7/10

Quite a lot of them i've never heard of such as Paganini Horror above.

Some of them look amazing from the stills.

I'm really sorry. I will from now on, I'm not used to anyone really paying attention to the films I watch.

The movie deals with a female rock band who buys a lost sheet of music that belonged to legendary Italian violinist/composer Niccolo Paganini who was said to have a pact with Satan. The band turns the sheet music into a synth tune called "Paganini Horror". They rent Paganini's old house and film a crappy music video, suddenly Paganini returns from his tomb, with a golden mask and a switchblade violin and starts to kill one after the other...

Its not really good but its charming..he killed his girl and supposedly strung his violin with her insides...I like that! : )

BLUE RUIN. Fantastic revenge thriller that meanders along in its own emptiness. Highly recommended.

Don't be sorry. I wasn't having a moan at you.

You do watch many films that i would think are new to most members on here and then post the most enticing stills that really draw me in. So any extra info is most welcome.

I'm being selfish really...just wanting to know more.

I thought the ending was interesting...t'was the rest of the film that went nowhere.

Ed Wood joins a streak of fantastic films I have seen recently.

Both the best Tim Burton film and Depp performance I have seen BY FAR.

10/10

it's been a while since I saw that but, as far as I'm concerned, it features Johnny Depp's career-best performance.

Makes it all the more baffling that it hasn't received a Region 2 Blu release.
