That's the one. Possibly my favourite horror of the last year or so.

Pretty grim film, though. Nasty. Strangely, it was 'remade' about five years after it was released? I think?

3 Days To Kill.
Diagnosed with an aggressive cancer CIA agent Ethan Renner (Costner) retires to Paris in an attempt to reunite with his estranged wife and daughter.
However being an action flick its not long before he's approached by mysterious female agent Vivi and offered a cure in return for finding and killing The Albino and The Wolf two naughty European villain types. Given 3 days to complete his assignment Ethan begins juggling shoot outs and torture with attempting to bond with the daughter he never knew while his wife flies out to London on business.
Given the Parisien setting and Luc Bessons involvement i went into this expecting Costner's Taken.
And while there may be some similarities this is a very different film, at times slow and meandering and not at all the race against time thriller i was expecting.
As much if not more of the film is focused on Costner's relationship with his daughter and while touching it is played realistically lacking in the schmaltz seen in parts of Taken. A strong vein of black comedy runs through this and Kevin Costner i thought was brilliant as the grizzled grumpy miserable old pro.
There are flaws, the tone is a bit all over the place but its on Netflix and you could do a lot worse.

I knew there where sex but i was expecting something along the lines of a rape slice and dice type of film, not basically a porn film.

I thought it was about as good as anything McG has made: not very.

ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE (1953)

More fun with A/C as they tackle Boris Karloff as Dr Jekyll. Some good scenes here, Mr Hyde looks pretty good and a chase across rooftops is well staged. Good atmospheric moments including a visit to a wax museum hosting Universal monsters.
