Just picked up the 8 disc Jess Franco collection (bargain at a tenner) and the New Barbarians tin with my birthday tokens plus this little horde for a pound each at my local charity shop.....

Manhattan Baby I really need to watch this again, a bit crazy. Loved the bit where you can see the film crew in the refection of the blind guys glasses!

The Abyss Theatrical version....much preferred the extended cut but still a great film

The Omen Original of course...don't come much more evil than this. One of my favourites ever

Mission to Mars Not a bad Sci Fi flick until the end gets covered in cheesy syrup and made me and my baby vomit

Train Stars Thora Birch

Hostel..set aboard a train! Some very strong gore and violence.
I found it quite entertaining...at least it was fast moving.
Not surprised it was cut by the MPAA for the R.
I'm hoping the forthcoming UK disc will be unrated as I'm curious to know what was cut.

I watched it recently along with the first film.Holds up surprisingly well, only let down by recasting Stiles with Stuart Fratkin.Jerry Levine as Stiles was one of the best things about the first film.Always been a fan of Jason Bateman since he was in Valerie/The Hogan family and even before that on the short lived tv show It's You're Move.

Originally it was intended as a remake but it seems the producers had a change of heart and the film soon after went in a different direction ie organ trafficking but this is really just an excuse to show people being dismembered.

The official Terror Train remake is out next year.

And will probably serve as much purpose as the Prom Night & Black Christmas remakes.
