Cannibal terror(1980)

Two dopey crooks and their busty bimbo girlfriend kidnap the daughter of a wealthy tycoon and bugger off to the jungle to hide out, and find themselves in danger of the local natives.

Easily the worst out of all the cannibal films ever made. The acting is absolutely horrible with some of the worst dubbing i have ever heard. And with rubbish special effects consisting of a dead pig carcass when the hilarious looking cannibals are supposedly chowing down on their victims.
As for the so-called jungle, what a joke. looks like it was set in somebodys back garden with nicely cut lawns etc. with obvious stock footage of wild animals thrown in.
worst of all though is the most ridiculous looking cannibal tribe ever commited to screen. All of the chaps are white for starters, with bizarre designer wigs. and their funny camp dancing has to be seen to be believed.
awards to the busty girl though who spent her time treking through the jungle in her stilletos instead of wearing suitable footwear. what a trooper.

Absolute rubbish. and how it was ever banned is a total mystery. even today i am still surprised it is rated 18.
but still so bad its kind of good. well just about anyway. 61 out of 100.

That must be the highest rating that I've ever seen for Cannibal Terror.

It's not the worst xmen film , it's better than the previous effort but is still bottom of the pile. The biggest problem is there is no real sense of danger / menace and we have a lot of slow paced scenes with people waffling about feelings. On the whole the acting is ok too good , apart from Sophie Turner who's as wooden and lifeless as usual. It could of been so much better with the source material and a better actor in the lead. 5.5/10

Elvira: Mistress of the dark.

Late night TV presenter Elvira, finds out she is a beneficiary of her great-aunt and travels to Fallwell Massachusetts, hoping to claim alot of money for her act in Las Vegas, but the towns people want her out aswell as her uncle who wants to get his hands on a recipe book.

This has it all, comedy, dark thriller,/horror, magic and teens wanting to get a picture of a half naked woman, Cassandra Petersen delivers her madcap altar-ego Elvira brilliantly, even from the start with the jokes and comebacksand funny. Daniel Greene who runs the town's movie theatre and slow love interest. Edie McClurg stars as Chastity Pariah the old town's biddy who doesn't want her there and gathers everyone to get rid of her and accusing Elvira of being a witch. W.Morgan Shepherd plays the evil Uncle Vincent who wants all the evil power known to man. Even though its from the 80s, is still funny. 8 out of 10.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space. 1988.

In a small town Aliens disguised as clown arrive and start terrorising everyone.

Even from the title this is not to be taking seriously unless you are afraid of clowns, it's not scary or gory but just funny, surprisingly for an 80s movie like this the acting isn't that bad, even Royal Dano points out the obvious scenario's, still wacky as I remember from watching it when it first came out. 7 out of 10.

Baywatch - a total no brainer was looking for something simple/funny - found this on netflix - It's funny and it's always nice to have something you can watch with you wife, without having a fight

Vulgar - decided to come back to the "clown" world after such a good experience with Stiches, this movie was supposed to be shocking, the rape scene was supposed to make you sick, the story was supposed to put you in tears, this was supposed to be a good movie.. this was a waste of my time.. so amateur, so disappointed

The Edge. Anthony Hopkins is an intellectual billionaire who finds himself in a fight for survival when his light plane crashes in the Alaskan wilderness. Surviving the harsh weather conditions and trying to get home are further complicated by a fellow survivor, a fashion photographer (Alec Baldwin) who may be planning to knock him off so he can have his much younger wife, and a (bloody terrifying) enormous murderous bear with a taste for human flesh that's got them firmly on its menu. This late 90s survival adventure/thriller is still an excellent film, with Hopkins (and Bart the Bear!) on top form.

Phenomena. 1985.

An American student is sent to a boarding school in Switzerland, she has the ability to communicate with insects and meets a professor who lost his assistant in a brutal killing try to solve the mystery of who the killer is.

Jennifer Connelly takes the lead role in this Argento's flick as the young girl with psychic abilities and sleep walker. Donald Pleasance plays professor John McGregor (with a decent Scottish accent). Part giallo thriller and part horror. It may not be for everyone but after a few watches of the movie to understand it this is still a bit creepy mixed with some good kill scenes and a pit of sludge. There is a good soundtrack from Simon Boswells and Goblin mixed with Iron Maiden and brilliant cinematography from. Romano Albania. Worth watch and never upset a chimpanzee. 8 out of 10.

A Bay Of Blood 1971

A Countess is killed by her husband who is killed and staged as a suicide, and people wanting the inheritance and land will do anything to have it.

From legendary director Mario Bava comes a film of greed and karma, the style of the film as it bounces from character to character can be confusing was either deliberately done or coincidence. The acting is greatly done from the start to finish and a little twist and turns added in with a blend of gruesome deaths that were probably creative back then but still entertaining, 7 out of 10.
