I gave the House of the Devil 2 1/2 stars when I watched it in January 2016, seem to remember thinking it was just as crap as anything else I’ve seen from Ti West.
I might dig the dvd out and give it another shot later on today to see if my feelings have changed since then, it does happen occasionally

Personally I found The Sacrament to be a superior film

Is it any good? Heard its a Jonestown massacre rip-off with bad acting.

1Atom-Man-Superman.jpg
ATOM MAN V SUPERMAN (1950)
15 CHAPTER COLUMBIA SERIAL

Superman comes up against Lex Luthor, who has made a synthetic Kryptonite.
..And who is the mysterious Atom Man who in league with Luthor?

More fun with Superman in this The second movie serial.
All the cast from the original serial appear again.
Once again, the cast listing does not list Kirk Alyn as Superman, as only Superman can play Superman!
Again the flying sequences are the cartoon animation. This time though, we do have live action close ups of Superman in the air.
Both Kirk Alyn and Noel Neill (Lois Lane) appear together again as young Lois Lane's parents on the train sequence in Superman The Movie (1978) as Clark runs by.

I found it very enjoyable, despite my views on Vice

I too liked The Sacrament.

It's very much a slow burner, but West seems expert at this sort of thing and always kept me engaged.

I thought that one was pretty poor too, but seeing as I watched it before I started logging my films in Letterboxd (Jan 16), I don’t know what rating out of 5 I gave it, probably 2 1/2 as well.
