The last two missing films from the AB Tigon collection are getting a rerelease from Odeon next month.

Not sure if they're Moviemail exclusives as I can't seem to find them anywhere else.

I wonder if they have any more Tigons in the works. The UK could do with reissues of The Sorcerers and the DD titles.

Actually, forgot about Haunted House Of Horror so maybe that'll be next..

Can anyone explain what this authoring issue is/was?
As I recall, Monster From Hell was originally issued in a faulty disc ( the image appeared 'stretched' ) and was missing a scene showing Peter Cushing stitching a hand and wrist together.

The disc was reissued corrected and with the missing scene restored.

Don't recall any other problems. I have a few of the DD Hammer ( and other UK horror ) dvds and thought they were excellently presented.

I saw a comparison somewhere of The Creeping Flesh between the Sony and DD discs and I remember the Sony one looking quite a bit better.

Wasn't DD's Blood Beast Terror the wrong AR as well?

I've never seen the Sony disc for comparison, but DD's Creeping Flesh disc looks pretty good.

I'm not sure The Blood Beast Terror was in the wrong AR, although the pq isn't great. Not as bad as the film itself though. How Peter Cushing kept a straight face during this one I'll never know

Well spotted. It's nice to see the Tigon releases getting individual releases as I have been after The Beast In The Cellar for some time now.

I have just pre-ordered them from HMV (no sign of them on Amazon as yet).
