Nobody knew she was an actress.

other than that, id have to say i try to avoid films with nicholas cage (after the weaker man especially, and ive only seen bits of that.....)
to wit...im on about Cage's more recent period (ghost rider fans? anyone?? really?? didnt think so...) his mania was just right for Raising Arizona, Vampires Kiss. as a BIG fan of Ferrara's TBL, il ignore any love for the "reimaging". he turns into nixon IMO.

i barely consider miss hilton as human, let alone as a harbinger of talent etc.

Hey, we can sink much lower. Here's a trio to reckon with, David Hasselhoff, 'Hulk' Hogan and Madonna. Christ, I feel sick just looking at what I just wrote. Fire at will. (Literaly)

I'd agree with that trio of evil. However, I did like Knight Rider as a kid and he adds a certain cheesy charm to Witchery (aka Witchcraft). Other than that, yeah, it's all been crap. Except, possibly, for his drunken YouTube appearances.

With you on Carrey, however i really rate the Truman Show.

Russell Crowe has done some good work -

Master and Commander
Gladiator
Robin Hood
3:10 to Yuma
Proof of Life
LA Confidential - a true classic
Romper Stomper

I loved 'Green Wing' and Michelle Gomez is a goddess, but that guy with curly black hair, Stephen Mangan and his character just made my teeth grind. He is probably a good actor tho, hope he's nothing like his character in real life. More of an annoying performance maybe.
