I have about 15-20 carrier bags full of DVDs (as well as two shelf/cabinets full) in my room. I might show you the contents of a bag after I finish work (that's if you guys don't mind seeing them).

I don't have room for boxes, so my DVDs are filed away in drawers and my BDs are in CD wallets. I use Invelos Software to catalogue my discs, filtered with BDs and then DVDs, subdivided into films, TV shows, music, live comedy, sports.

You should give dvdaf a try,it's very easy to add your collection and the database has lots of international dvd's listed.
You can add any missing dvd listings yourself btw.
It's free as well.

I must add hundreds imported dvds, that'd be a pain in the ass,I tried to do that with Blu-ray.com too and it was hard

I have three Blu-Ray Discs, but no player

To be honest , I can't tell the difference between BD's and DVD's. I watched a BD of Batman in my sisters house (because she has the 50" Full HD TV), and I didn't notice a difference.

There's a trick to add dvd's/bd's of smaller labels really fast, just search by label and you will get a complete list of their releases, saves lots of time as you can add loads quickly this way.

Example:
http://www.dvdaf.com/search.html?pub...o%2F%2F*rgn_us

You don't need to type the upc's a well, just (part of the) titles and select the dvd's country.

Oh btw no need to add 'The" to any title when searching and " ' " is not needed as well.

You can also search by director btw.

I found it to be a fun and relatively quick way to get my collection organized...
