I'm going to show my mates your pics, Philleh. I get endlessly mocked for being OCD about collecting DVDs and I don't even have a fraction of the collection you have!

The way I justify it is like so:

How many movies get made globally per annum? - Now times that by 100.

I'm way off having that many films!!! ha ha.

I just did a search on the imdb:

Films released in 2007
With a Rating of 6 or more (meaning pretty decent)
With over 500 votes (to weed out obscurities)
Total = 362

I only managed to watch under 220 films in 2007 and I was trying, and then there's the 100 year backlog.

How am I supposed to watch all the good films?

With advances in modern technology, and if your wealthy, it's not naive to think you won't live till 300 - 340. That should help!

A Typical month I'd try to watch at least 10
I'll probably buy about 12 in a typical month.
