De Palma in his day was a great director.

BODY DOUBLE is another I love.

Body Double's a good film.

He's done some stone-cold classics. Although my tastes seem to have changed, as i used to love "Raising Cane" but didn't enjoy it on recent rewatch.

Check out "Sisters" and "The Fury".. some great camera trickery in there too boot..

yep Sisters is great, ive not seen The Fury or Raising Cain yet but Body Double Dressed To Kill, Scarface, Carlito's Way and Phantom Of Paradise are fantastic films. His career did slide in the 90s after Carlito but i still like Mission To Mars and Black Dahlia. Femme Fatale was rubbish which is a shame because it could have been really noirish.

Mission To Mars has a fantastic Ennio Moriconne score.

Scarface and Carlito's Way are a pair of turds (IMO). But then again, i hate Pacino and his ever-present acting style of OTT shouting and glaring.

I love Scarface

BUT!!!!!! I can see why people would see it as overrated and when I first watched it I just couldn't get into it, I had to watch it a few times.

I like SCARFACE but hearing those stupid rappers going on about it all time ruined it for me a bit.
