To be honest, I haven't seen anything directed by Shinya Tsukamoto, so have added four of his films to my Lovefilm queue. I'll probably add them to my collection if I like them.

Those screenshots look great and I look forward to watching the film to see if the moving image is better -- it should be on a 42" plasma.

I'm a fan, Snake, the Tetsuo's, Tokyo Fist and Gemini are essential, the rest are still worth a watch. His performance in Ichi the Killer was great too!

I have to wait until I get 15 post before, but I'll be back.
My collection is really small, though. I just started =/

I have Tetsuo: The Iron Man, the first film in the Tetsuo series. I wasn't a fan though. If anyone wants it i'd be happy to sell it, Not sure what region it is off the top of my head though.

Well said, and I'll echo this sentiment.

We all had 15 DVDs once!

Probably just a slip of the finger; the 'y' and the 'u' are next to each other, after all

I probably have over or right at 150 DVDs, all of which are pretty common.
But when I say I have just started collecting, I mean those movie that are a little harder to come by: Naked Lunch, House (1977), The Man who fell to Earth and the likes.

You guys have made me feel welcome here, and for that I thank you.
If anyone has a suggestion as to which movies I should be on the look out for, I'd appreciate it; under $100 would be my budget.

You're liable to be given massive lists of films you haven't seen or heard of by directors whose names mean absolutely nothing. If you want a general grounding in horror, have a look at the Shameless and Arrow Video releases, read the synopses and see which ones appeal. If you start with something like Fulci's Box of Terror (Shameless) and Arrow Video's releases of the films by George Romero, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci and Mario Bava, they'll set you in good stead.

I know it's a shameless plug, but have a look through my Top 50 Favourite Horror Films and see which ones you haven't seen and sound interesting enough to buy.
