You'll definitely have to take a photo of that (or, better still, have someone take a photo of you with the pile!) before you sort everything out and have a tidy up.
Prince_Vajda and Jason King like this.

Awesome jacket, I thought about getting one but I had to put buying stuff on hold so I could save up and get all this. I posted it in the DVD thread, but it fits better in here.

I guesse there is not as many jaws fans on here as I thought.
It's an Aqualung scuba tank from 1973 that matches the one used to blow up Jaws at the end.
And the giant yellow barrel was used during the filming of Jaws to float out the mechanical shark, it was originally black, but I painted it yellow to match the barrels that Quint harpoons onto the shark as they were the same exact barrel.

I wasn't sure about the oxygen tank, but I thought 'that looks exactly like one of those drums from Jaws, but it can't be as he would have said something'!

Yes, I knew it was an aqualung.
What I meant was that, as a diver myself, i have only ever use cylinders that have sported a single DIN. Your's clearly sport's two. I was alway's taught it was rather unconventional, so was curious.

I honestly have no idea, I've been looking for a tank that matches the one in Jaws for a long time, and this is the closest I've seen. I know it's not exact, but close enough in my book
I know nothing about diving. Although I would love to dive someday.
I bet it's an experience.
How long have you been diving? Do you take photos when you dive?

I got in contact with a couple from Martha's Vineyard that helped out a lot with the production of Jaws. Awesome people. I was lucky that I was able to get a barrel from them. I would love two more but the wife says I am lucky I can keep one in the house.
