'Silence of the Lambs' directed by Michael Reeves. 'Hellraiser' by Reeves or (and this made me smile when I thought of it) a big budget 'Bond' with Pierce Brosnan. Just imagine a real dark, violent Bond helmed by Reeves. Also imagine Hollywood execs faces watching it for the first time.
As I already said in an earlier post in another thread, I wonder how a Reeves Slasher would have looked like. As the Slasher genre was and still is a quite repetitive one, I am sure Michael would have shot a very creative and inspired contribution.

Greetings!

Cool

And in one of those quite eerie coincidences that life throws up, just as we start to talk about the great man... BBC4 Sunday 12th 10pm 'Witchfinder General' a shiver down the spine or simply fate, either way, cool.

Great thing indeed.

Here's an artwork for The Sorcerers. I like the film and the artwork. It's not his masterpiece, but quite enjoyable; Karloff is impressive as usual.

Here's the edition I own. It's a German release (RIP, e-m-s) and it's the first edition - which means it came with a nice slipcase.

And that's how the DVD cover looks like.

Greetings!

The Sorcerers one sheet is really nice.

The film is quite poor.

Cool

Just a heads up, I've corrected my post- 'Witchfinder General' is on BBC4 Sunday 12th at 10pm not BBC2. Hope you reset your recorders if necessary.

From the set of The Witchfinder General: a real lovey-dovey pair.

It's a sad thing that they only worked together on one film.

Greetings!

They were going to work together on reeves next film (Price was so impressed by his performance when he saw 'witchfinder' he praised Reeves for knowing what he was doing when he antagonized Price about overacting during shooting). But it was not to be sadly.

Cool

Nice to see BBC4 showed the restored version of 'Witchfinder', with the blurry tv edits in place. Ogilvy really whacks Price at the end too.
